Do you recommend buying stocks or commodities or commodity stock?

Stocks for your initial and long term investments. Especially if you are new and just starting out. Commodities are a different ball game entirely, however, EFT's that specialize in commodities can be ok for a high risk investment with some speculative cash. Just remember, there are a whole lot of regulatory types and a house full of democrats with their eyes on hijacking those profits, so be very careful when considering commodities who are at all time highs.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you have not bought any of the above the past.  That's OK, everybody has to start somewhere.  

My advice is to contact a financial planner to see if you should be putting money away in the market in the first place (you should only invest what you won't need for at least 5 years).  Then worry about what to buy, if anything.
