Do you recommend someone who just passed the CBEST exam...?

...to start substituting at public school already? i just passed my CBEST exam and I will be start my Teacher's Credential program in Feb (winter session)..its several months from now.

do you think its smart if i start applying at school district for a teacher substitute and start gaining classroom experience or should i wait until i start the program??

I think it would be a good idea to start subing as soon as you can in classrooms. This way, you can get a feel on how teaching is like, get experience, and start your reputation from other teachers around the school.
