Do you recommend the 2002 Chrysler Sebring Sedan?

I am thinking about purchasing the 2002 Chrysler Sebring Sedan. I have previously always owned Toyota's and they have been reliable to me. I came across this Chrysler that a friend is selling and will sell it to me for $8000. It has 48,000 miles on it. I researched it online and found some good reviews but also some bad reviews. Some said there were issues with transmission, suspension and brakes, and air conditioning. Others said this car treated them well. It also received pretty good safety ratings. I have a 3 year old daughter so thats important to me. Would you say this is a reliable car? Is it worth the money? Do you recommend that I purchase this vehicle? I appreciate any comments to help in my decision.

  3. No,honestly most chrysler products before 2006 are really unreliable.and also they do not hold their value well.$6,000 would be a more reasonable price in my opinion.

  4. No, stay with Toyota. If you want something different, get a Honda or Nissan.

  5. My mom just got a new car, and traded in her 2002 Sebring.  She got $6000 for it, with 65,000miles on it. The only thing that went wrong was the oil pump, under warranty was something like $300, but was covered.  Anyway, its a very nice car...and you would be getting a pretty good deal.

    Good Luck!

  6. That car is a piece of c**p and Chrysler should have been run out of this State selling them here. I would have voted to have them arrested.
