  1. I recycle a lot, both at home and at work.

At home, I  collect glass, plastic, paper, plastic and aluminum and bring them to a single stream collection point close to where I shop and do laundry (one trip!). I compost my food scraps, too.

At work, I'm kind of a task-master, ensuring that people recycle. We single-stream at work, too. LOTS of cans, bottles, glass , plastic and paper. Cardboard goes in a big crusher, and we save a lot. We also collect ewaste (electronic) and toxic bulbs are collected and reprocessed, too.

    So how do you recycle?

  2. Absolutely everything.  Our Township picks up all metal, glass, plastic, newsprint, cardboard, and junk mail.  Household appliances and hazardous materials must be taken to the township building for recycling and/or proper disposal (paint, wet/dry cell batteries used motor oil).  Yard waste is picked up and turned into mulch or compost for use in Township parks.  We fill only one 30 gal. trash bag every 3 or 4 weeks.

  3. we recycle everything our city will take, my hubby even brings his waste from work home because he works in another state and they don't recycle there

  4. i recycle everything that can be recycled.  My city recycles, but not my building.  So once a week I take everything to the recycling center.
