  3. Always, its so easy with the different coloured bins & other information from the council & you can do even more.   Its just a poor do that some dont ,but in my experience they arnt capable of understanding, cant even write their name never mind tell the diferent coulors, & thats after paying for their education.

  4. yep

  5. Recycle it go GOOD WILL!

  6. No, I leave it on Yahoo!Answers for someone else to dispose of.

  7. yes, as much of it as possible

  8. yes

  9. Yes it is important to recycle, I have an easy method to try.  Put your rubbish in your neighbours bin, simple !!!

  10. all we can so far; paper, glass, plastics 1 and 2, steel and aluminium, also compost all green waste and cardboard.

i also add any charcoal from the bottom of the woodburner to the compost in a bid to store some carbon long term, it really builds up over the years.

  11. YES of course!

  12. I recycle paper (blue bin collection)

tins, glass and plastic (black box collection)

the council makes it so easy for us

  13. Yes we do and I remember,we now have food waste bins, and its surprising what you throw out too,you just dont realise til you see it in the bin,so now gonna cook less so plates are empty.

  15. Yes I do, and also compost.

  16. most of it

  17. Most of it.

  18. Yes  about  80% of it

  19. yes.

  20. es, about 50% currently, and more and more all the time

  21. YES!!!!

  22. I would say 75% of it.  What I don't understand is when you see people on TV with dustbins overflowing, there are alaways plastic bottles there.  Why do they not cut these up, if you take a family of 4 using lemonade bottles etc, these items take up a lot of room in bins.  Why they do not recycle I will never understand. When there council tax goes up due to the incease of charge to dump all this bulk into the ground they will be the first to complain.

  23. Yes I do, in fact when we had a shop our local council entered us into a competition and we came second to a bank.

We didnt even try any harder than we normally did and still have the Rose bowl prize lol.

  24. Of course, because we are told that it is green and friendly and that less rubbish is then dumped into landfill sites.

We have to keep doing this and try to re-cycle as much as possible.

However, at the moment, we are not always told the truth by government and by officials. Ask this question: How much of our so-called re-recyclable waste is loaded onto huge ships and transported to China for landfill there? We revile this nation's government for human rights abuses. Rightly so - but are we beyond 'dumping on them' too?

This is a complicated issue and you need to research it if you are really interested. The sources and references are too many to list. Can I be lazy and ask you to 'do it yourself'?

  25. yeah, as much as I can

  26. Whatever it does help, learn your stuff or don't answer tbh. :/

    :) I do.

With stuff I can't recycle I carry it to a special place where they do something with it. (Envi-friendly.)

They don't burn or bury it.

    It's safe anyway! :D

  27. As much as poss yes

  28. yes, anything that can be recycled

  29. Yes,  I recycle everything that my local recycling company will let me.

  30. Yes -- as well as items set out for trash by others such as wheelchairs or crutches, books, useful furniture -- has to be in fair to good condition.

    And compost for my garden.

  31. I do, I separate the platics and glass and then the papers.
