Do you recyle? Or are you one of those that figures someone else will take care of it.?

They recently found plastic garbage bags, plastic bottles, tires, styrefoam and even human f***s on the shores of antartica. There was even a penguin that had a plastic six pack holder on its ankle. Do you recyle or throw it out the window hoping someone won't see you do it, like maybe a penguin or something.

We recycle and I think EVERYONE should!! There are know excuses.. We need to save the world and now, before we do turn into a plastice bag!!

Yes.  I recycle. I wish everyone would before we run out of space for our garbage.

I don't recycle. I do think someone else should take care of it.  

Like those six pack holders, whoever designed and marketed those things should have thought about what's going to happen to them when they get thrown out.  Just like everything else.  

Is it my responsibility to properly recycle all the unwanted trash mail?  Maybe the supermarkets and advertisers should go through my trash and pick out their ads I've thrown away and do their part in recycling.  or maybe not send anything at all.

Instead of making packages out of plastic, they should be made out of biodegradeable materials like  http://www.worldcentric.org/store/fiberb...  

Don't get me wrong, I don't throw any trash on the ground or out the window and if there's a recyclables bin next to a trash bin I'll properly dispose of the recyclables.  I just think the people making and distributing the unwanted un-biodegradeable things should take more responsibility.  Why should I go out of my way so big corporations can save and make millions of dollars NOT using environmental friendly practices.

In India recycling  is a common practice by individuals knowingly or unknowingly. - In India we have "Raddi-Wala" , the solid waste picker who "buys" the waste/ unserviceable items and is a part of long chain of  recycling processor industry. I as an individual  "sell" my solid waste to such raddi wala's.

I wish this could become more organized  and scientific.
