  1. sorry 2 hear bout that

Im 23 and although i got like 5 GCSE at grade C, i wish id worked alot harder at school than i did.

Now all i do is work in a depressin crapppy shop!

U gotta think of it this way tho, ur still at the age where education at college is free so if theres somthin u want to do i say DO IT!

Make sure its definatly what u want tho, not someoneelses idea!

Id propably see ur doctor about ur anxiety tho coz those kinda thing dont go on their own, u hav2 talk 2 someone.

  2. The Lord is my shepard.  I shall not want.  In other words, you have everything that you need.  You have Jesus.  Just believe.  Also, there is not a person alive that does not have regrets.  The solution is to try to move on, and see where your going.  You have been highly successful; you have left a message for people to help you, so stop looking at everything in a negative light.

  3. They say that youth is wasted on the young and never a truer word was spoken. Yes I wasted my education partly due to family problems growing up, mental and physical health problems but made up for it by going back to college and getting therapy.

I am 43 years old and have had a great working life and some fantastic friends and earned great money.  So it´s never to late to get your life on track, you just have to want to.

  4. Not marrying early and not getting the best possible mate will be a regret. So will not trying your hardest in your early career it will matter later on. Don't take anything for granted.

  5. Maybe you don't have a idea for 22 years, but if you got if now, use it for the next 22 years that you should be 44 years old then. If average life span is 70 years old, then 70-44 = 26 more years for you to be even better. Start your ideas NOW, not later or tomorrow as it will be really too late.

  6. I regret i completley but i am making up for it now, i went back to college at 23 years old, so its never too late, otherwise why not look into distance learning courses , i found elearn uk very good , you will be in the privacy of your home but will give you the qualifications, the only difference is you wont get the training you will need.

Why need speak to a learn direct advisor's they are very good and have helped me in the past sort my life out otherwise email me directly i can try help you find the right path to take

either way good luck with what every you choose to do

  7. yes. i wish i did better when i was young. cant complain tho as I'm a manager and tech assistant for a radio station!

  8. I first went back to college at the age of 36,got my qualifications, had an accident and am now back in my 2nd term at college retraining to be a clinical pyschologist since recovering from a spinal injury so the only reason people have for not achieving what they wish in life is denial which leads to making exuses for lack of success, you do your best and get back into college and learn, only you can make it happen,I am 41 now and will have my degree in another 2-3 years ,why because instead of thinking about it,I did it,so best of luck...oh and realistic is preferable to be highly successful as that is difficult to quantify and usually leads to a bad fall...peace

  9. Yes I do, but at the same time I know I wasn't ready to take it seriously back then.  I was immature.  If I had studied then the subjects I am studying now I wouldn't have paid as much attention, or taken as much in.  So I would still regret letting a certain amount of knowledge go.

If you can see where you went wrong, you are very fortunate.  This is essential for doing it right this time.  Well done.

  10. Ok, you're motivated.  You probably have a direction, goals, but see some hurdles.

Do I regret the past? No. I would consider that a waste of time.  The past is the past.  I regret not thinking through my career choices more carefully (wound up in a career I hated).

First, work on that social anxiety.  Get this book, read the initial chapters and pick one area to work on.  To get the benefit, you must do the written exercises, not hard, just take work.

Second, don't put all your hopes on getting into college now.  By the way, maybe trade school is better, depending on your goals.  Like Info Technology training--very well-paying these days.  If you can't get into college these days, try junior college, or community college.  Get good grades, then later reapply.

Being successful is most often more a matter of not quitting than it is getting good breaks.

If the book above doesn't help you enough, try counseling.  But the book is very good.

Also, once you have thought through your goals thoroughly and have decided they are doable (assuming some maturation and growth), write them down. Then on new pages, formulate the steps necessary to get there.  Then break those steps down into smaller steps, and start working on them!.
