Do you remember around 1978 or 1979 when McDonald's sold fried chicken? What happened to that?

You probably have to be over 40 years old to remember this. The chicken was kind of like KFC's Original Recipe, not "extra crispy" at all. It was only around for a limited time, maybe just the summer.

i should remember but i don't, maybe it didn't catch on, people came there primarily for burgers and fries would be a good guess.

kfc didnt like the idea

I wasnt alive yet... but I do remember Hardee's selling fried chicken for awhile... maybe the late 80's- early 90's?
