  1. The doe and the lion it is about a doe running from the hunters and seeking refuge in a cave.  inside the cave is a lion that rips the doe apart.  

    The moral of the story is to take care not to walk into more danger trying to escape danger.

    The boys and the frog, it is about a group of boys playing near a pond.  they throw stones at some frogs in the pond killing many of them.  Then one of the frogs stick their head out of the water boldly, and tells the boys to stop that what is sport to the boys is death to the frogs.

    Moral of the story one mans pleasure is another mans pain.

    The bundle of sticks it was about a dieing mans last message to his children he had his servants go out and gather a bundle of sticks. when they returned he handed the bundle of sticks to his eldest son and told him to break it.  he could not then the bundle was passed around to the rest of the mans sons all of them failed to break the bundle of sticks.  The dieing man then told his sons to untie the bundle and take one stick.  He then told them to break the stick.  The stick broke easily.

    Moral of the story is that there is strength in unity.

    The eagle and the arrow,  It is about an eagle watching a rabbit wanting it for its own prey.  then he looked down and saw a hunter with a bow and arrow in that instance the hunter shot the arrow into the eagles heart and when the eagle looked down at the arrow he saw the feathers which guided the  arrow were his own.

    The moral of the story is that we supply our enemies with the weapons they use against us.

    The shipwrecked sheppard this one is about a sheppard who sold his flock of sheep to buy a boat and go to sea a storm came up and destroyed the boat and he ended up shipwrecked with nothing.

    The moral of the story is never trust what seems to be a perfect.

  4. I remember reading Aesops fables. I remember one about a fox and some grapes. Been at least 40 years so memory not good on them.

  5. rapunzel, jack and the beanstalk, little red riding hood, the billy goats gruff, humpty dumpty, cinderella, sleeping beauty, etc etc etc

  7. Check out Aesop's fables.  I especially liked the one where the dog wanted the bone the other dog had in a pool of water.  Of course that dog was his reflection.  He dives in after that image and loses his bone.
