Do you remember the Sears of yesterday?

They sold hot nuts and icees and you could munch and shop. I used to love going there with my parents so I could get an icee and some hot cashews. Anyone remember that?

  1. i dont but i remember that. but i remember wall-mart of yesteryear they used to have a small food eat-in food store but it was a wall-mart one not a mc'donalds they had an old fashend cotton candy machine and a poler chill shlushie  machine and a t.v where they played cartoon movies. i miss those days. :-(

  3. I can remember when Sears's had a candy shop.They sold an assortment of chocolate candies. You could buy $.25 per lbs. of chocolate covered peanut clusters, they were the best. That was my treat. The smell of the nuts would hit you when you enter the store,cashews nuts were my favorite. The Chicago store ( Homan Ave.) had a store for there employees that they would open to the public on weekends and they had good bargain on household & clothing items on the 8th floor. They even had a bank in the bldg.Remember when it was called Sears Roebuck.

  4. My mom always said " Dont be greedy" and I never got any. :(
