Do you remember the sucky days of dial up internet?

i was only a kid when dial up internet was popular but i still remember all the commotion at my aunt's house when someone wanted to use the phone and someone was on the 'net....it was a good thing no one at home was into the internet....until now.

I have tried to long forget those days but sadly yes I remember having 16k yes 16 not 56k wow that was slow. Don't know how I survived without my cable modem.

I remember beating the c**p out of a really old laptop everytime it would dial AOL for the 100th time, just to either not connect or drop the connection a few minutes later.

ya! i remember when i was a kid my dad would have to go on the internet and it would be dial up, but then i didnt really kno much about that, but i remember the gigantic phones too!!!

Ya it was like getting that hour long lecture from mom or dad LOL

but i try to keep dial-up in the past (Thank God For COMCAST!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Those were the days...

You would call someone 20 times over the course of an hour and keep getting the busy signal.

And you had to keep getting off the internet because your mom wanted to call someone
