Do you respect him less if he sleeps with you quickly?

i would wonder about his restraint, and whether he is always so quick to jump into bed with someone he barely knows... i think i'd trust him less rather than respect him less

though i *would* respect him less if he didn't use & inquire about protection

Well, it takes two to er...tango. If I expect him to respect me the next morning, it's only fair that respect him back.

Actually...maybe.  I respect him less if he pressures me or expects to have s*x on the first or second meeting. It makes me wonder how many times he has done this before.  

I will still date guys like this, but it always bothers me a bit if they think it is normal to have s*x with people they barely know.

I think it depends. If you go to bed knowing it is just a thing and not a lifetime commitment then I would respect him. BUT if he thinks sleeping together gives him somethign more then no.

Definately not. My husband and I slept with each other the first night we met (there was alcohol present) and although we regret sleeping with each other so quickly, it has nothing to do with the level of respect we feel for each other.

Are you talking about his being easy or about his being quick in bed?

I have met few men who wouldn't get frisky if I indicated I was open to the possibility.  

I think there is often a double standard, or at least there was in the days when I was dating.  A girl who allowed things to get intimate was "easy," but a guy who went for the gusto was "a stud."  Most of the guys I slept with were decent men.

I was pretty casual about meeting physical urges, but it was a different era.  Now, I'd expect him to show a bit more restraint, I think.
