  1. I know how to ride bikes. I find it more effective than jogging. However, i do not have much free time, so i seldom cycle anymore.

  2. I ride one of two different motorcycles to and from work and ride a bicycle for many errands.

I pedal a full suspension GT mountain bike and pull a B.O.B. trailer.

I like both methods for traveling.  Roads and the danger of the city I commute thru prevents me from commuting by bicycle.

  3. No i dont ride a bike.

  4. I ride my bike every single day. I ride it to work, I ride it to the store, I ride it to friends houses. I ride it everywhere, there is no limits on where me and my bike will go. I LOVE IT.. Now I want a mini bike with a gas motor. Because sometimes the pedaling can get overwhelming but Its always better than paying 4.34 for a gallon of gasoline

  5. I ride a bike every day.  Fortunately I live close to work so I am able to bike there.  I also like the work out of a bike ride.  It is more effective than just walking.  Biking saves gas, helps out the environment, and makes you healthier.  I wish more people would bike.

  6. Oh yeah - best thing I ever decided to do was start commuting by bicycle.  Portland, OR has a sweet infrastructure for bikes and it just keeps improving.  We're pretty fortunate out here - but it looks like a lot of cities are starting to make plans to also help their folks get around on one of the most efficient forms of transportation out there.

Every darn day - 8 miles into work, and then 8 miles back home.  This last year alone I logged nearly 2,000 miles in the saddle.  I love it.

Why?  First the money saved:  At 16 miles/day that would be roughly $4.00 per day for gas- an average of 20 work days a month -so there's $80.00 right there saved. Throw in parking @ $120/mo. and insurance another $120/mo. and really I am saving $320 per month... oh wait - if I drove a car, I'd need another car in the family so... a car payment of $240 per month - now that's roughly $560.00 saved per month!!!

No Gym membership is needed - I ride instead - so not only do I save time and gas getting to the gym - that's another $50.

Total savings: $610.00 - that's just money in my pocket. These are averages of course - gas could be more expensive, I might eat more food, etc. but I think it's pretty close.

Also check it - I can eat pretty much whatever I want.  Drink all the beer I need to and still maintain my weight - and yeah chicks do dig the biker bod.  My lady totally digs my legs and let's me know about it bro.  It's the way to go.

And I like braving the elements.  I like the challenge of harsh weather because I think it makes you a stronger person.

And the time savings:  It would take about 20-25 minutes (unless there's a traffic jam!) by car... 50 minutes (unless the bus is late or the train is stuck) by transit.

Total time on the bike:  30 minutes.  Oh yeah - I love to pretend I am Lance Freakin Armstrong!!!

  7. I ride, with my kids, to their school in the morning and then I ride to work. I do this 3-4 times a week.  I live 3 miles away, and it takes me about 15 minutes tor get there.  I also ride my bike for short errands and for recreation.   I have a car also, I'd had it for 3 years and only have 30,000 miles on it.  Plus, I only full up the car every 2 1/2 weeks for so.

  8. which bike do you mean??Motorbike @ motorcycle or bicycle@bike???Nowadays riding motorbike is more compared to bicycle..yeah i like it
