  1. Yes, I do ride to work.  Yes I do shower at work.  I change into a uniform that my work launders for me.  I keep spare hygiene products at work.

  2. um no. I work 17 miles away from my house. It would be ridiculous to bike there.

  3. Monday is when I bring my clothes into work by wearing a backpack. It is a bit heavy but the rest of the week is easy then. On Friday, I bring them home to wash them back up.

I ride 7 miles into work and during the summer, even in the morning it is hot and muggy so I do shower at work. If this isn't a possibility, try using the most wipes (unscented Baby Wipes work too) to clean up and feel more fresh than being in clothes that you are sweating in as you cool down after the ride.

  4. I live in Brooklyn and bike to Downtown Manhattan for work.  It approximately 6.5 miles.  It takes about 18-20 minutes for me to ride at a decent pace.  The Brooklyn Bridge climb slows me down.  The subway takes about 35 minutes.  I bring a change of clothes and a towel.  I don't have shower facilities at work, but I towel off and "shower" with a kind of baby wipe.

  5. i do sometimes.  yes, we have showers and lockers here.  i plan ahead and keep my clothes in my locker.  i bring them in on a day when i drive so they'll be there when i ride.

  6. My husband does, he showers and changes there before anyone else gets there.

  7. I try and ride 4 times a week, if the weather is nice.  In the mornings I take it nice and slow and change into a uniform when I get there.  After work, though, it's a quick race home with other commuters!

  8. I used to ride to work 25 miles each way. I would ride in with a back pack on Monday with my clothes for the week. We didn't have any shower facilities so I would just do my best in the restroom. I worked in a factory so it wasn't a huge deal.

At my old job, I used to ride in once a week and that was a 35 mile ride each way.
