Do you run the pool pump when you put chemicals in the pool?

Yes, it helps to distribute them throughout the pool. I used to pour mine in where the water came back into the pool from the filter.

i don't know...

but i went to my friends grandparents house and they had a hot tub and ran it and put chemicals in it.....

i think you should run the pool pump to mix the chemicals in the pool so it can get clean and won't be filled with bacteria
