Do you say pop, soda, soda pop or tonic?

We had a big argument about this on the last day of school...If you're wondering, I say soda.

  2. Grew up in Midwest and they say pop; moved to West Coast and now we say soda.

  11. Pop v.s. soda is mostly based on region. I've lived in California my entire life, and I say soda, but my east coast cousins say pop.

I say soda.  It depends a lot in where you live, or where you grew up.  People in California say "soda", people in northwestern Mexico (across California) say "soda" people in central Mexico say "refresco", people in Canada say "pop", people in northern U.S. say "pop", some people in the middle even say "soda pop" (cuz they're between the "soda" people and the "pop" people.......
