Do you say pop or soda???

    u shouldnt say pop until you turn like 50! then its approperiate :)


  2. In UK as stated before, we may say the name, or fizzy drink or soft drink.  When I hear people saying soda I immediately think of bicarbonate of soda!

    always say/heard soda

    never heard it called pop in those states

  4. I have been around and I use all of them interchangeably.  Soda, pop, soda pop, soda water, cola,and even coke (Dr. Pepper please!)

    it depends on what your used to and where you live.

  6. I said Pop when I lived in Oklahoma.  Some folks where I live now say cold drink.  I just call it whatever it is that I'm drinkng eg. Diet PepsiMax, Diet Coke, Zero, or Diet Dr. Pepper.

  11. i live in south mississippi and i say coke for every type of soda though i would say soda over pop and probably occasionally do

  12. Soda I only say it because thats how I learned to say it. But when I moved from Wisconsin to Minnesota... everyone said pop! It was so annoying, I eventually moved back to Wisconsin (where I am now) and now everyone says soda again, seems like Wisconsin says soda , and Minnesota says pop.... strange... isn't it? :)

  19. Uggh, it's so annoying when people say pop, that's old school. Soda or Coke is what I say.
