Gas certainly seems a lot cheaper in America than it does in England, but I doubt they'll go down because of the shortage of the stuff! Gas is getting so expensive, people are going to stop driving!

Only if demand drops very, very low.

Alternative fuel vehicle would have to be perfected and be popular enough to drive gasoline vehicle from the road. The majority of the American public would never give in to that....at least, not anytime soon.

No. People have been asking this question since gas hit 2.00. It won't go down, it'll keep going up. Don't get hopeful, it's silly to think that it'll drop.

Regular oil will not go down. Demand will just increase and supply will decrease. You will see a lot more cheaper source of energy for cars before you see gas at 3.00$

Yeah i do, but that would have to involve gas hitting such a high price that demand goes down to a fraction of what it was. If demand really fell than gas prices would follow, but then we would be right back to where we are now after a while again because everyone would once again start demanding it if it got cheaper. So can it go back to $3 or less? Yes. Is it gonna happen anytime soon? Probably not.

I doublt it. Now that they see us paying $4.00 they will only go higher or keep it at a flat rate above $3.00. I am in Southern Cali and its almost at $4.50

i don't think we,ll ever see 3 bucks again, im hoping we do,but right now its still rising,something great would have to happen for it to ever go down again,usually when it climbs that high that fast it takes it a long time to ever drop back, hope im wrong on this one though,good luck.
