Do you see Kyle Busch winning the Sprint Cup this year?

i know it's too soon, but who knows. also who besides Kyle do you see in the top 12 chase for the cup?

he's right though, with every high, there's a low, bound to happen, if Kyle can keep his head on straight, I think he'll be a legitimate contender

Not yet actually.  Its early and the top three are due for some bad weeks.  Its inevitable.  It's 100% open for several drivers at this point.

I'm a realist Winter.  I've been following this stuff for so long.  There is no such thing as perfection in NASCAR.  The question lies in how those current top dogs come back from the bad races.  That's what really counts.  

I get a kick out of the people giving up on guys like JJ, Smoke, JR and Gordo.  For instance "smoke."  When he won his last cup he didn't win a race till June then went on a tear.  Its fixing to be a great finish though I must admit.

i wouldn't be a true citizen of "rowdy's world" if i didn't see it happening, if i didn't dream about it, if i wasn't already looking forward to how he'll goof up his "sprint cup awards" speech at the end of the year (here's hoping he doesn't call his date by kurt's wife's name again ;-).  and i wouldn't be a fan of kyle's if he didn't see it happening.

of course, it's not a lock by any means, and it's early yet.  but he's improved incredibly every year (20th to 10th to 5th in points over the past three years), and he's off to mean start so far this year.  he will be a serious contender.

Yes, I think he is certainly a contender.  I think winner will definitely be out of the JGR Shop.  Not sure which driver.  My money on Tony!  Kyle needs to learn to lay back a little.  He will have a few too many DNF's for the top spot.  Waiting for JR. to take him out....

I believe he has a chance win the Sprint Cup for 2008...only because of the wins hes been bringing home for Toyota, Joe Gibbs. If he keeps up the good racing then he will definitely have a good chance of winning. It all depends on the Races left for the season, which is like 3/4.

Oh, I sincerely hope not...Can't stand him or his brother...I would even root for Jeff Gordon if it came down between Gordon or Kyle Busch and I'm a big Dale Earnhardt (Sr & Jr) fan....

I say it's anyone's game.  I do think that we'll get a new cup champ this year and I do feel that it'll come down to KY, Jeff Burton and Jr.  They've been the most consistent drivers so far this year.  But I think we'll get a better feel for that once we make it back to Richmond.

I could very well happen but its like the points leader by the middle of the season always has trouble and the second to 5th place car takes place

Even though I can't stand the boy he will be in contention this year and probably do a lot better than the past few years but as for him winning the cup, I don't think so.  I do however think it will go to a different driver other than Jimmie, no 3-peat this year.  I am rooting for Junior Myself.
