Question:

Do you see Liverpool winning the EPL?

If they win on September 13th against Manchester United, they will very possibly have only 1 or 2 losses until March.

They have road matches with Chelsea and Arsenal this year.

Arsenal is young and lost too much veteran talent and Man U just does not look that great so far, so it could come down to Chelsea and Liverpool.

  1. I see your point,. but Man U will still want to try to win!

And sometimes the younger players are good (Arsenal)!

  2. I'D LYK to see them finish at no.2 united being no.1!

    and arsehol being no.10!!

  3. Not in the real world no

  4. yes, this season will be a two-horse race between liverpool and chelsea. I don't see the young guns of arsenal firing. Without ronaldo for crucial matches against liverpool(13/09) and chelsea(21/09) in away games, this could be a start to the end of man utd league challenge. Plus not like ronaldo's return will make a quick impacted, because he will need time to settle.

Then in the end you see my sight of the argument

  5. Yep! I agree its between Chelsea or Arsenal, Personally i'd like Liverpool to win! Not that i'd mind if Chelsea won though... :D

  6. Never in a million years

  7. I think that would be wishful thinking.  I don't think it will happen, not this year at least, Chelsea and Man U are just too strong.

  8. ahahaha....

    joke of the year...

  9. Not in the next few years at the very least.

  10. if they keep winning then yes

    if not then no

if they stay fit the chances are good

    if not then no

if they focus on the prem then yes

    if not then no

  11. Speaking as a liverpool fan I'm not too optimistic,

I say this because on the pitch we do not look like a unit, our football is not fluent and our usual strength, defence, is becoming a worry I know we have only conceded 1 goal in competative games this season but we are looking shaky. Plus the whole business with lack of wingers could become a problem.

My biggest worry is if we lose Torres to injury who do we have then: Keane, who is not prolific and more of a second striker, kuyt is now a winger and voronin, well he's voronin.

If we give a good performance at home to Standard tonight my view could change as it always does in football,  a good performance renews optimism.

  12. NOPE IT WILL COMETE WELL BUT NO SCOPE OF TITLE FOR REDS IT WLD EITHER B THE RED DEVILS OR THE BLUES IF CONTINUE THE GR8 RUNS

  13. As Arsenal showed last season, being the best in the fall does not do much if you cannot win come April and May. I realize that injuries caused them to lose scoring ability, but they also ran out of luck and dramatics. I am a fan of Arsenal and believe that The Emirates is the best stadium out there and deserves the commitment needed to take a championship.

The point is that M U and Chelsea recently seem to find a way to survive better over the course 10 months than the other teams due to depth on the roster and in the pockets. Liverpool actually has the most top division titles, but their last was around 1990. I could see them finishing second to Chelsea this year if Manchester does not come around. Sad to say, I still feel that Arsenal is a 4th again and a year away.

  14. nope, liverpool are more of a cup team like arsenal, the prem is between chelsea and man united, its now a top 2 not a top 4, with liverpool and arsenal in their own little league for 3rd and 4th.

  15. You are underestimating both teams alot. You just might see at the end that Man U and Arsenal would be competing stiffly for the title and that Chelsea and Liverpool are competing for 3rd and 4th. You never know, the tide might change in the last minute.

  16. No. Their focus has never been winning the domestic league.
