Do you see anything wrong with WANTING to be with the garbage man?

The garbage that comes by my house is SO HOT. omg He's gorgeous. All my friends think its gross because he is a garbageman. But they've never seen this guy, or they'll change their mind. He broke the stereotype that garbage men are fat and hairy and old.

What do you think?

It really depends on how old you are. If you are between the age 15-17, who cares?? You can date whoever you want!!! It will absolutely have no effect on your future. Of course, if you are in your twenties, I would advise you to date someone a little bit higher than a garbageman or else your kids won't really have a good future. So it all depends on your age. If you're in high school then date whoever you want but if you're in your last year of university or simply in your twenties, I would advise you not to date a garbage man because you may end up marrying him and I doubt it would be a very happy marriage.

Absolutely not!

The fact is that most "garbage men" or "Sanitary Engineers" are good, honest, hard working people that simply have a job that some people find to be disgusting.

Don't let your friends determine who you spend time with or who you pursue. The job of a REAL friend is to offer advice when asked and offer support when needed, not to control a person.

Hah, without garbage men, who would pick up our garbage?! I don't understand people who look down on those kinds of jobs, because we need them to get things done around here. If he's hot, go for it. I hear they pay good money, too.

They get paid high wages where I live at.  Its a very hard manual labor, outside all times of year, and most people dont want to do it.  So by nature, they are getting paid a lot.

But even if they werent....   if you like the guy, dont let something like that get in the way.  Love is tough and hard, but I would give up everything for the right person, and have.

They get paid pretty good money in the city. But you should never do something just because of a person. If you want to be a garbage man, go right ahead. It's legal and it helps pay the bills.

The guy that actually lifts the garbage cans has to be strong, because sometimes the cans fill with water on rainy days.

Now you say he WANTS to be a garbageman? That doesn't show he has much plans for a future. Who could do this job past 40?

If he's so easily satisfied with his career choice, how do you know he'd really be selective in choosing you?

Garbage men have to be in shape for the type of job they do.  Lots of manual labor.  I heard they get paid well.  Only concern is, of course, diseases.  Make sure he gets routinely tested for Hepatitis B and HIV.
