Do you see bad images while you pray?

This keeps happening to me and it makes me feel like my prayers are outweighed by these images which I shouldn't be thinking of but they keep popping in my head. It's hard to get them off my mind, and all I can say is they're not very appropriate. I'm sure this happens to a lot of people, but how do you set your mind free of wordly things while you're praying?

What works for me is when that happens, I take authority over those thoughts that are not from God and use the name, Jesus,(swt), that is higher above every other name.
