Question:

Do you see creation as being possible? Why or Why not?

Please rationale and proof if you dare, but do not list the bible, holy writings, or even the "big bang".

The oldest known holy writings or depictions are about 10-15,000 yrs old; hardly old enough to prove creation when the earth is millions of years old.

The big bang theory is great, but it is flawed. The big bang theory contradicts two laws of science, thus making it untrue to some extent. In science Energy and Matter can neither be created nor destroyed, how then can the big bang attest to the creation of said matter and energy. If we presuppose that energy and matter was already present, then the theory breaks the law of science stating that, Objects at Rest, will remain at rest unless acted upon by an outside force.

What I want is your view.

  1. I believe in a god, I do not believe in the bible or in most ID theories.

  2. So, let me get this right: the people who wrote Genesis were there at the beginning and wrote down an accurate account of what they saw....

    Don't think so.

  3. Creation is possible, just not biblical creation.

  4. Try going down to the pub!

  5. We do know that the very first book of the bible is scientifically and factually incorrect.

  6. The physical universe (matter & energy) had a beginning and it will also have an end as we know it. Time was created but might possibly continue to co-exist with eternity in some manner throughout eternity. After all, you and I had a beginning and are destined to exist throughout all eternity.

  7. I have practice religion all my life, if fact I have swayed away a bit in the last 6 months, but I believe in Science's version.  Makes me numb though because of my past belief experiences.

  8. The 'Big Bang' only attests to this universe...

There is currently no way of knowing what caused it, and how big infinity is ;-)

  9. What like God said let there be stuff  and there was.

Well he could have said that. Not really much of a story though.  God said so and therefore it happend

  10. God was present at creation, and He tells us how it was done, and how long it took. Genesis 1:1-31

Evolutionists reject what God says. They were not present at creation so they are just guessing.

  11. We might start this debate by getting 1 thing out of the way....

    ..the bible is B.S.

With that said, we could feel free to examine scientific theories & facts to better understand our world & the universe.

  12. Well, I am a Christian, and I won't quote scripture to you since you asked us not to.  The thing is I just don't see how chaos (the "big bang") could have produced perfection.  Every thing just works together too well in Harmony for chaos to have produced it.  From how the weather affects the plants and crops, which feed animals and us.  How the sun makes the plants grow,  plants taking carbon dioxide and producing oxygen and animals taking in oxygen and producing carbon dioxide so that each can survive.  The way all of the systems of our bodies work independently and together so perfectly.   And I just don't believe or see how that we could have gone from a single-cell amoeba to an organism that has millions or billions of cells of who knows how many different kinds.  All of those theories just don't make since.  And if it did all come from a "big bang"  who caused the "big bang" to happen in such a way that perfection was the result?
