I guess I`m too pragmatic, as I see things only through my own eyes.

I'm pretty sure I see myself through my own eyes. It's through my own perception that I observe and take apart my own behavior.

I have this crazy thought that we don't like to ourselves how we look to other people - like at all. Looking in the mirror or a photograph, we see something completely different than what others could see. If we could actually see what we really look like it would be like when we hear our voice recorded and we go "OMG! do I really sound like that?" - but worse cause it would be more shocking.

my own.   i'm much harder on myself than others are.

my family and friends seem to see me with gentler eyes than mine.

After wasting so much time by seeing myself through everyones eyes ..i have started looking myself through my eyes..now i am more comfortable...Society has placed the bar of "perfection" so impossibly high that no one can really reach it...Don't let society determine who you are, don't let society whisper lies into your soul. Society doesn't love you, only you can do that, and you have to love who you are.. You can tell yourself that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, but following through with that can be very hard...For too long I lived my life trying to please others...Now I enjoy myself, I enjoy being alone with myself. . See yourself for who you really are, see yourself through your own eyes and realize just how wonderful and awesome you truly are.

Look i'm not worried about other's eyes but my own. What i see is entirely different than someone else see's.

   The way we appear to others seems to be most peoples concern, yet there is no way to look from another minds eye. We can try to see what others are visualizing but in truth, it's still just a interpretation of our own thoughts. I like what I see in me...well sometimes. And I like what I see in you...sometimes.

In my former life I could only see myself through other's eyes.  Now that my eyes have been opened I see myself through my own eyes, but  sometimes still look into other's eyes for the approval of myself.

It is by our own frame work of existence through which we judge. We have no other standard. So, we cannot see through any eyes but our own.  Everyone does this and, if we listen, people, through their judgments on others, tell us about themselves.

Maybe we should stop trying to "see ourselves" thru any set of eyes, and just BE. ;-)
