  1. I set high standards for myself at times, when I can't accomplish them I feel like c**p, but try to do twice as much the next day. Advantages, it makes you strive to do better and finish things, push yourself harder. Disadvantages, disappointment, sence of non accomplishment, depression.

  2. its easier to get disappointed, but you push youself farther, so you often go farther. but when you don't reach your goals it can make you depressed because you feel like a failure.

  3. Yes, I base them on what I do daily and what I need to do in the requirements of my job.

  4. As far as being more giving, caring, loving, compassionate and empathetic, yes, I do set high standards for myself.

As far as taking responsibility for everything I say and do, yes, I set high standards for myself.

As far as the physical self, I'm happy with who I am. As far as monetarily, I'm satisfied with having enough to survive, but would welcome more. As far as living arrangements, living in my converted bus is great and it didn't cost everything. It's paid for...free and clear.

I think that people who have to have "the best," "the most," "the biggest," set themselves up to a life of work and not being satisfied, no matter how much they obtain.
