I often set goals and deadlines, but I'm easily distracted. I had a plan for studying this year but I get easily distracted dissapointed and bored, i will start something then decide its not the best thing to do then start something else, then stop, then return etc.

I also procrastinate a lot.

I decided to set some long term goals for myself, then wake up each morning and plan the day, at the end of the day i will check whether i met my planed expectatios, if not i write down what went wrong and how to correct it the next day...is this a good way?

I also decided not to study at home, but to use the university study centre whenever i need to study, that way i don't get distracted.

  1. I just make a layout of my plans for a day, then after every 3hrs i just access the situation that how much work is left , then i try to complete rest of the things in next 3 hrs, after giving my full efforts i generally notice that not much of the task is leftover for next 3 hrs span. thats how i am capable of completing my plans before the deadline.

For you I will suggest that just on the start of the day u make aplan of how much you have to study after every three hrs check where are you standing now.and try to compelete all scheduled task of the day in next quarter, and you will notice by evening you will have your job done and ample of time will also be present for your other activities.

  2. I don't make long term plans. I don't even make short term plans or set goals. I just live my life

  3. good luck with that - flying by the seat of your pants and seeing where you land is both foolhardy and exhilarating. You may need to leave that choice until later in life
