Do you shave your armpits?

My Friend has really Hairy underarms and shes only 7 its like a bush should i tell her to shave or is she too young

Each of the body functions, however obnoxious some of them happen to be to others, have a purpose. It is for social acceptability that we do all these like shaving armpits. Modern man has grown intolerant to some of these, when he/she ought to be tolerant. Don't bring a 7 year girl's innocense to face this reality. Let her grow as naturally as possible for several more years. She'll make such as these decisions on her own and you can jump in, then.

Meanwhile let's tolerate certain things like these in children; or else, keep off from them.

maybe if she wants too but if she shaves it might get really thick. maybe she should try waxing it.

I beg to differ from all the answers until now.

Shaving at 7 is pretty dramatic. I would think it feasible only if the girl really has a complex about her underarm hair.

Most importantly, I recommend a visit with a specialist endocrinologist, as the girl is undergoing precocious puberty.

Finally, please remember that you can have perfect hygiene even if you don't shave under arms. Shaving is carried out purely for aesthetic reasons.

7 is really young to start shaving, but then again most 7 year olds don't have hair there, so ya I think she should. People should start shaving whenever they get hair there no matter what there age because it is proper hygeine.
