  1. I'm pretty good at pool spent almost my entire senior year of high school in a pool hall almost didn't graduate play for one year instant improvement

  2. It has been my experience that women newcomers to the game have the biggest problem with their bridge (the hand that rests on the table to stabilize the cue).  A rock steady bridge is essential for improving ones game.  Find one that is comfortable for you and practice, practice, practice.  Good Luck.

  3. no

  4. just keep practicing and practicing. . . From time to time check out other players (who know what they are doing). Watch the things they do. Stay down when taking a shot, don't jump up after hitting the cue ball. Point your front foot towards the cue ball when taking a shot. Try to hold your stick level with the table, keeping the end down, don't raise the back of your stick up in the area. These are just some simple pointers, but the most important.....Practice.

  5. No...but if you go there and play you'll get better...join a league and just practice all the time...try to find someone to play straight pool this game is more challenging and allows you to use all of the shots your going to need...don't play around with English for awhile, its overrated...just hit center ball and watch the natural flow of the balls...everything else will come with time...also I found the mirror method the easiest for bank shots...

  6. Before you do naything you need the right stance and the right length of cue, with a decent tip.
