  1. Its where I find my Mid-Century furnishing, some clothes. I do it because I like to see the old thingymaboppers, I can play with the toys, and you never know what you will find...oh and the prices cannot be beat. Way to many to list, but I like the ones that help the animals.

  2. Yes. I love buying stuff at discount prices, and my wife loves to give the same stuff back to the thrift stores. We generate a lot of profits for the thrift stores in our neighborhood.

  3. yes

  4. I do it to from time to time! I like Salvation army better though they give out food and have more good then goodwill! So donate food, clothes and help out salvation army before you Help goodwill get richer

  5. I do. But I make a profit from selling these items on ebay.

  6. I can't shop at thrift stores.  I have a weird phobia about wearing clothes other people have already worn.  Creeps me out too much.

Yes, even if they've been washed many times.

  7. I'll be honest, more to save.

My daughter loves the school clothes I bought at thrift stores more than the clothes her Aunt bought in the mall. I will never tell Auntie about this. (Don't get me wrong - I love my sister-in-law and am very grateful for her financial help)

  8. Sure, why not?

It always amazes me when people say I can't wear clothes that others have worn, no matter how many times they have been washed.

Must be tough for those people to get a hotel room. Do they demand new sheets and towels? How about restaurants? The plates were washed but, OMG, someone ate off the just a few minutes ago. Think I'll puke.

Buy there, save some money and help people out. Sounds like a win/win to me.

  9. yea me too. i love thrift stores cause i loving saves my money
