Do you sign up for a league same day or three four days in advance?

I have a league Drafting on Thursday 8/28 7:30 pm and looking for a couple of active players.

I sign up as soon as i can so i can check out the settings & prepare for the draft based on settings errrrrr at least i did, i drafted 2 leagues this year w/out checking the settings & was a bit unprepared when i noticed IDPs

i have room for another league but i don't do FOX
