  1. No, I'm way to old for skateboarding. But I think it can be OK for people who enjoy the activity to do so. Just make sure it is safe for others using the public places. Another big issue is the liability factor; getting injured on public property will always generate law suits.

    Two sides to the issue, but I would not like to see it outlawed; just some sensible rules. Be careful and have fun.
