  1. I never take mine off.

  2. Most everyone I know wear theirs 24/7, but I am allergic to metal so I take mine off when I am at home. I don't leave the house without them!

  3. No

  4. yes, i do, i wear them all the time, 24 hours a day, never take them off. everyone i know does this too. my friends and i recently had a coversation about this, and all of us said that we never take them off - we sleep in them, shower with them on, do the dishes with them on, etc etc.

  5. Why take it off?

  6. i take off my engagement ring but my wedding ring i wear it 24/7...

  7. I always keep mine on, just because I love them so much.  I don't want to lose them either.

  8. I only take mine off whenever I am in the shower and when applying lotion. I do that in order to prevent build up from the lotions/soaps. Besides that, mine is on all the time, including when I sleep.

  9. I never take my wedding ring off.

  10. i take mine off when i sleep and when i take a shower. the reason i take it off when i sleep is sometimes my fingers swell in the night..for whatever reason i dont know! but the nights i have left it on, sometimes i wake up with it feeling tight... and off in the shower, just because i dont want soap build up or harsh water..haha im kinda weird about it, i just dont want to damage it!

  11. I don't.  I did for the first week of being engaged, but I scratched myself a few times in the middle of the night and gave up on it.  I take my rings off as soon as I walk into the house now, that way they don't get scratched up while I'm cleaning or anything.

I know some people who never take theirs off, so it depends on what makes you comfortable.

  12. I keep mine on for fear I will either lose them or they may get stolen.

  13. well as long as its not going to slip off or anything i see no reason why not?

  14. I never used to sleep with my promise ring when I got it, but now I am engaged and I now wear both of my rings to bed. I will wear my wedding band to bed as well after the wedding. I used to be scared that they would some how get damaged, like the diamonds would get caught on something and they would fall out, but they won't. I was just paranoid. lol.

  15. Of course, my rings are on all the time (engagement, wedding, anniversary). The only time I take them off is to mix dough by hand, or making burgers, for example.

  16. There's no rule about this, but for safety's sake it's better to keep them on.

  17. my parents never take them off but my cousin takes hers off whn cleaning, wqshing hands, in the shower etc. I havent heard of taking your wedding ring off while sleeping but i guess you can....

  18. We take them off because it would drive me nuts..doing dishes, showering, sleeping, etc. It know it would just wear it out so bad. We only wear it when we leave the house, otherwise, they are sitting in the usual place by the entrace's tables.

  19. I would go crazy if I had to wear it all of the time. My husband and I only wear ours when we leave the house. When we are at home they sit in a Waterford crystal dish in our bedroom.

  20. I take my engagement ring off because I have heard of people scratching up their faces with their engagement rings while they were asleep.  I've been married a few days and so far took my wedding band off along with the engagement ring, but I don't know if that's really necessary.

  21. u sure do, i don't ever take mine off not even to do the dishes =)
