yes, I often avoid going to those. I hate polystyrene cups.  Nothing tastes as good in those, they are not environmentally friendly, and they may be injurious to your health.  You should never put one in a microwave because of the chemicals leaching, but there is some leaching with hot beverages in them, as it is.

Oops, yes.  Every once in awhile I do & slightly less than that I remember to bring in my own cup.

Yes. I make a point of not eating or drinking from polystyrene plates and cups because they contain benzene, a known carcinogen. Others are bothered by polystyrene's 500 year life span.

I never eat out.  Restaurant people spit in the food.
