Actually I doubt you could absorb totally into your phalanges.  

Given the physical mass involved in the rest of the body, it is highly unlikely that you could assimilate that volume into a space limited by dimensions of height, width, length and depth.

Have you had this problem long?   I have read it only occurs to very beautiful, intelligent, outgoing, and interesting human females.

Given that factor, I would surmise it is a mixed blessing/curse!

Soaking your toes in a warm salt water solution may offer some relief, should you experience some swelling as the absorption process attempts to continue.
