I'd like to compile a list of common English names that sound silly in other languages because of their meanings. I only know Spanish so I can start with a few names that have funny meanings in Spanish, but if you know any other language - please add!!

Cara - means "face" in Spanish

Ella - means "her" in Spanish

Mia - means "mine" in Spanish

Asa - form of "to grill" in Spanish
