Do you spend your vacation with your mother?

I have a spouse that thinks that he has to be at his mothers every weekend. He plans vacations with his mother. He thinks that its okay to do things with his mother on my weekend off instead of doing things with me even though I said I wanted to spend the weekend with him.

He thinks I am unreasonable and says that I am prevending him from sucking on his moms t*t.

In all the years that we were raising our kids, I only remember ONE vacation that we didn't go straight to either my Mom's or his.  And that time, we went to his Mom's, but took the scenic route to get there.

I always resented it that we couldn't go to other places.  Yellowstone, or Disneyland, or something.  Going to my Mom's was okay, but going to his was sheer torture for me.  She barely tolerated me, and it was like walking on ground glass, trying to stay out of arguments with her.

I wish you luck.  My husband never would understand if I wanted something else. Insisted that he'd never get to see his Mom if we didn't use our vacation time to go there.
