I am contented with just a happy birthday!!! Just the fact that the other person remembered it enough for me.

I still celebrate it, but I do not like to be the centre of attention, so I am more happy when someone just wishes me a happy birthday and doesn't make a big deal of it. Oh, and presents are still good!!

I forget how old I shall be ... ah ... youth flies by.

We usually celebrate by going out for a meal.

my brother didn't even mention my birthday this year - it was very disappointing.  I did say I was ignoring my birthday but your own brother?  come on!  I don't like to make a big deal about it but your immediate family should at least get you a card!
