No,but I have a ton of cassettes, I want to burn on cd's. My cassette player fried, and I can't find another one. I don't think they even make them anymore. All that good music going to waste.

They aren't stashed a way anymore. I have my 8 Track Player set up right next to my Turn Table, Reel to Reel, Cassette player, and Cd player.:)

Those 8-track tapes represent the first time you could listen to the music you wanted in your car any time you wanted.  I make my CDs from vinyl and cassettes, just as I make my DVDs from VHS and television.

I have a box with about 40 8-track tapes, a console with AM/FM, turntable and 8-track tape deck, and a '75 T-Bird with a AM/FM 8-track in the dash.

My 8-track player is sitting on my stereo cabinet in the basement.  My tapes and 45s and LPs play throughout most week days.  I load the stereo up (speakers are in the upstairs too) in the morning and...

No, and I also got rid of all my cassettes and replaced them with cds. I do have a few vinyls left. Why I've kept those I don't know. Most are not worth much that I have found online. I guess I'll keep them until I die and then someone else can sort through them.

Yes, I do actually. I don't know why because I don't have the machine to play them in, but it's probably memories that I am having trouble getting rid of. Wow...Neil Diamond, Carpenters, Barry Manilow, John Denver, Abba. Great times and fun memories.

god no 8 track, i never liked the skipping around anyway.

i still have a few cassette tapes that i need to trash, i hardly listen to anything but satellite radio anymore, or something that i have downloaded. i have a ton of cd's i don't listen to anymore either. :-(

Nope.  But I have lots and lots of LPs.  Vinyl records that ought to be gotten rid of, but I am so attached to them!

I sure do. In fact  several years ago, I played some of them in an old 8 track pklayer I had in the basement. I played some of them, but when I ejected them the tape got stuck and came out in one big mess. That was the end of those. I still do have quite a few of them that are still in tact tho. Lots of memories.
