  1. Yes.

The points are just count the accidents and ticket (mostly for insurance).

The fines are how you pay the government as penalty.

    Good Luck...

  2. Most states: 3 years to wipe them off, from when the infraction occured.  Drive smart.

  3. Answer from a General Insurance Agent

Duhh Yes, thats why it was suspended

If you paid the tickets, Then you pled guilty to the offense, So any chargeable points from the tickets, accidents etc will be on your permanent driving record.

Contrary to popular belief, Your tickets and accidents "Never" come off your record. Your driving record is permanent. Nothing ever just gets wiped off.

The good news is that most insurance companies will only review you record for the last 3 to 5 years. So anything older than that will not be considered and will not be used in considering your application for insurance.

I hope that info helps you. It's always best to ask your Insurance agent, he will be licensed in your state ad will usually know about these things. A police officer could also verify this for you.

    Additionally

Standard Insurance Companies will check your driving record for the last 5 years.

Non-Standard Insurance Companies only check your driving record for the past 3 years.

    Take Care and Good Luck.

  4. By paying the tickets, you admitted to the offenses and received points.  I'm glad you now have your license back, but yes, the points are still there.  Generally the insurance doesn't count them against you after 3 years for minor things, 5 to 7 years for more serious offenses.
