Do you still have spacers when u get braces?

  1. They take the spacers out before they put the braces on (same day).


  2. no when u go to get ur braces they take out the spacers.

  3. No, they come out when the put the braces in. Spacers just sort of help move the teeth a little to make a band fit in there.

  4. It's been a long time since I had braces but I am pretty sure they took my spacers out before they put the braces on.

  5. No, when you get your braces they will put a metal thing around your tooth with cement (you'll see), so that replaces the spacers.
