Do you still have your childhood drawings/paintings?

I don’t have many of my childhood drawings left (I probably have maybe 1/3 of my original drawings), but I still have this acrylic painting that I did when I was 6 years old (It’s my most cherished childhood art). I expressed to my parents how much I wanted to paint, so they enrolled me into a painting class at the recreational center in town; I was intimidated because I was the youngest kid there (there were even a few teenagers there). The class was only a few weeks long, but at the last day of class, I painted my work of art--it was a lakeside landscape with an island and flowers (every student had to paint the same thing, so it was interesting to compare our work). Even though my painting looks like what any average 6-year-old would do, I consider it my finest masterpiece.

  1. I dont but my mother does...she till uses a cup I made in art class when I was 8. lol

I found some of my old artwork I did when I was little and couldnt believe how I used to draw. It did makeme want to start up on it all again.

I miss sitting down and putting my thoughts into art.

When I seen the old drawing I did, The thoughts and memories I had at the time of drawing them all came back and that was real nice. :)

You should deff stick with it!

  2. Yes, but my art has greatly improved since then. But it is very interesting to see how your perception on life so to speak was when you were younger, and the techniques that were so underdeveloped. I take great enjoyment in viewing my childhood work.
