  1. Yes you will need to have one.  Usually the airlines will hand the forms out on the flight into Mexico.


  2. The tourist card costs about $22.00 USD and you will get it in the plane if you fly, or at the border if you drive.  It is good for up to 180 days.

You do need a tourist card for Mx.  The card is free.  There is a $205 peso exit fee, which is either included in your airfare, or if you are not flying, you will need to pay at a bank before you get to the border.  It is good for up to 180days, but you must ask for the days in order to get them.  Also, take care of it, if it gets mangled in your journeys, you may find immagration officers are not likely to consider it valid.
