Do you still order prints of your photos or keep them on CD/online only?

Question

Just wondering if you still order actual prints of your digital camera photos or if you keep more of an online photo album instead? Pros and Cons? If you do order prints, how do you find the room to store them all (albums, photo box, etc) and if you keep them online/CD only, how do you share with those who don't have a computer?

sometimes I order prints of my photos ,it depends.You always find a place  to store that you really want!

I order prints of some of my pictures that I have converted to postcards by adding captions and clip art.  These get get mailed by USPS for birthdays, holidays, special events, etc. , or just general greetings.  I order prints on line because it's still cheaper than printing them at home, and with a digital camera there's no film to get to the store or in the mail.

I may make a handful of 8 by 10 inch prints a year and frame them, for gifts and display at club events

I archive my pictures on a CD for home storage, and keep backup copies on line.  Commercial photo printers like Wall Mart and Kodak offer lots of on line storage just by ordering a print a year.

While my parents were alive, I always made prints of my photos for them since they weren't interested in dealing with a computer for any reason.

Other than the above postcards and special 8 by 10 prints made from my photos, I almost always email my pictures to my siblings and friends.  If they want a print of my pictures, they can make them at their end - and at their expense, too! ;-)

My Dad left behind a large quantity of slides after he died.  My siblings wanted copies, but we all realized that the expense of making copies and/or prints for everybody would be prohibitive.  We decided to buy a home slide scanner, and convert the slides to CD/DVD to distribute to the family.  That way they can print what they want, at their leisure

I print just those photos on canvas that is really great, and i want to put it on the wall)
