Do you still remember your early childhood years?

Do you still remember the time when you were 3-6 years old. If no, why did you forget everything what was at that time?

  1. I remember loads.  I actually freak my parents out with how far back I remember my childhood.  They do like it when I remind them of stuff though :)

    When I was three and my baby brother was brought home from the hospital. It was so weird...I remember my feelings and everything that was said.

  6. i remember mainly dreams i used to have when i was 2-4 years old. i remember when i was 4 my parents split up and i remember that, and before that i remember standing in the room that was going to be my brothers when he was born and i was wearing a nappie and was tying mysef to the pram. sounds kind of perverse but there you go lol


  7. I don't know how old I was but I do remember standing up in my crib and trying unsuccessfully to get out of it. We lived in an old house and I remember being too small to be able to reach the doorknob. Those are my earliest memories.

  10. I can remember being taken down the garden to the air raid shelter. I was a baby in arms about 6 months old. I can remember the sirens also.

  11. I remember things from 5 or 6 years old, because that's when I started going to school, which was a major change. The memory portion of your brain doesn't start kicking in until after the first few years of life - it's different for everyone though. Some can remember very specific memories as early as 3 or 4, some can't remember anything before 8. It's different for each individual.

  12. I have a very good memory, that´s why I keep quite a few memories from the age of 4 onwards on my mind, when I began going to the kindergarten. But nothing before that age.

  13. yes I remember them years,we still had rationing,starting school,did not have a lot of things but we were still happy and content.1947 to 1953
