Do you still respond to an e-mail even if there are no questions in it furthering the conversation?

Ok I'm talking to my crush online, and he asked me a question in his email, then i asked one in my response, and he wrote back but he didn't ask me a question so I don't know if I should write back or drop it and just wait for him to write me again?

do u ever text someone and it ends up the same way? It's like the old, you hang up oh no you hang up and finally someone has to do it. You are doing awesome.

I asked a question in my last message, but ended the message with just a regular sentence.

She never replied.

I'm not expert at this, but my instinct is to give it time, then send another fresh message about a fresh topic, later on, to keep the lines open. It shows interest.

I had that happen a few times where I sent a response but it wasn't there when he opened it. So I had to resend it again. Just respond back and let him know that there was nothing in his email. Don't make a big deal out of something that could have been an innocent mistake.
