Kudos to Shamu for telling me about this story.

Although it has happened in South Africa, whose to say that this won't happen to another man in your backyard?

And also...Do you, personally, believe his story?

  1. yes i beleive the story, and yes women can rape the man,

  2. Still?

Actually, I've never thought it was impossible.  I heard of a story years ago about a woman who would abuse her husband.  Another story of a woman who raped a man by having a gun to his head.  Of course it's possible.

  3. If you can take advantage of a person you can rape them, so yes, it's totally possible.

I just don't think it carries the stigma for a guy it does for a woman. Largely because of our unfair views on s*x

  4. i knew it wasn't impossible.

however, i would like to know how many people will say he was "asking for it" because he got in a car with three women and was drunk when he got raped? if he was a woman, that would be a common retort. ( of course, i think that sort of excuse is bullshite)

  5. I know a lot of immature men and women (who haven't been raped) think it is a joke and present platitudes like "can't rape the willing" as some kind of ultimate wisdom.

This is a serious question and requires a serious answer, so here goes:

First, yes women do rape men. The major U.S. rape crisis organizations (RAINN, etc.) have statistics on the crime and resources for those who have been victimized in such a manner (scarce resources at present). The numbers are small, but they do exist. I am one of those men who was victimized in such a manner.

Second, the old "wet noodle" defense by those who excuse predatory females is quite disgusting. Your body and mind are not necessarily always working together. Rape survivors are often conflicted and ashamed of the fact that they felt physical stimulation and sometimes orgasmed in the midst of an attack, even though they did not or could not consent. Rapists usually know this and sometimes use it as a tool to keep their victims silent and ashamed. Manual stimulation, c**k rings, and prostate massage are known methods of stimulation. While it is true that some men cannot keep an erection when drunk or under the influence of drugs, this is far from the truth for all men. Anyone claiming to the contrary is not someone dealing in facts.

I was raped by a woman several years ago and maintained an erection the entire time. My body responded to the physical stimulation, even though I was unconscious for most of the attack and then threatened and blackmailed into silence when I awoke to find her in the act. I don't know how she stimulated me and I don't want to know.

I'd rather I didn't know it happened at all then to have to read the immature and hurtful garbage that most people post on the internet about such occurrences.  However, this thread is different as there have been many, thoughtful, mature responses to the question.  Bravo.

  6. Generalizations are bad...I always believed it but it just happens less then male attackers.  I believe his story but I think that they must have slipped something in his drink for him to be aroused.  I think if a guy was being raped by girls  at gun point it might be hard to keep it up; right?

  7. im not sure if it's possible but a friend of mine  once told me i forgot weither its in india or syrlinka where women rape men and some even pay man to have s*x  ...u can research about it.

  8. ok this is not very rare because the odds of a man getting raped by a woman is 79% but they are too ashamed to admit they were, most men feel insecure after something like that and dont enjoy it all.

  9. Of course it's not impossible.

It is incredibly rare, however, and the threat of it doesn't keep men from going out alone at night.

Half of my female friends have experience sexual violence.  I don't (personally) know a single man who has.

And most males who are raped are raped by males.

  10. It can happen.  Actually... I just saw it on Maury yesterday.

But the guy said he was drunk, high, raped, but he still wasn't the father.  hahaha ^_^

  11. I can't access the link.  :-(

To answer your initial Q... yes, definitely.

Not only is it possible, but unfortunately, has occurred more than we are informed about.

Some people think that men are physically stronger and therefore women are unable to rape them...for some or many, that is true, yet is not always the case - particularly when a woman uses drugs and/or alcohol, so physicality/strength is not necessarily a 'requirement'...and even if it were, there are women (and I know a few) who are quite strong, and able to rape/hurt some men without the use of drugs.

  12. lucky guy eh

  13. Yes.

  14. I think I've already answered this question before, but I'll say it again. A man is just as much a credible victim of rape as women are. And they deserve the same care and assistance that women receive. As well as persecution of the guilty should be equal across the board.

  15. it is soooo not impossible...

its happened to loads of ppl....

people ask questions about it on tis....

    i do believe his story...

rape is associated between men and woman and forcing someome to have s**

  16. yeah I guess it happens.

but does a man being raped, have the same affect as it does on a woman, I know that they're very emotionally unstable.

  17. It happens but most of the time men don't report it.  You can't rape a willing person because if they actually want to have s*x with no objections, as in get "lucky," then it isn't rape (unless they are underage, then it is statutory rape).  But for everyone else, most guys are embarrassed because of the stereotype that he "enjoyed it" because he had to have an erection and if he did there was only pleasure involved.  That is false because it isn't hard to give a man an involuntary erection and then proceed to take advantage of it.  It's also possible to be anally raped by a foreign object against the man's consent.  Also, people would assume that a man must be weak if a woman was able to overpower him, removing any notion of her having a weapon, threatening him in some other way, or drugging him.  If a man who is over 18 comes to the police and say he was raped by a woman they might not take him as seriously as a woman doing the same.

As for his story, it's possible but you never know.  I'm not going to say I don't believe him because stranger things happened.

  18. It's not only possible but it has, still does, and will continue to happen. Just because the media doesn't report it doesn't mean it's not happening.

  19. No, I never did.

  20. Anything is "possible" but women who rape men are very very rare...men are the aggressors and the ones who kill and rape about 99.9% of the time.

  21. I never did think it was impossible. Ask any Title XII lawyer and they'll tell you what's really up.

  22. Yes I do, I heard a story about Lil Bow Wow (rapper) talking about how he'd been raped? Don't know if it's true or not...There's also a movie about Demi Moore raping a male employee of hers, I saw it on Lifetime once. If women rape men though, I think they are more likely to claim that the man wanted it. Shallow really.
