like I'm debating about going to the gym tonight ( i went last night). Today I went to the laundromat and washed about 20 loads of clothes. I have 3 kids and a husband and i skipped a week so there wasnt a clean towel or sock or t shirt or anything in the house. I mean i seperated them ,bagged em up, loaded em up. unloaded them out the car, washed em dried em, baggd em back up, unloaded them again at home, now they're sitting in my living room waiting to be folded. so anyway im pooped. but im wondering if i should just suck it up and go to the gym and knock it out

  1. I lift in the morning, less likely to put it off.  Only time I broke my routine this year was when I had the flu

  2. I would if I were you, but then again I'm still a teenager and have that kind of energy. There are days where I have 6 hours of school, 6 hours of work, play a little basketball in between, and still go down to my basement and lift weights.

You could always go lighter with your exercise.

  3. It depends on how pooped you are!

Most of the time I think it's important not to get out of the routine, so if you can you should still go, just take it lightly.   But every once in a while you just need a break!  And that's ok, sometimes I even take a whole week off (twice a year) and eat whatever I want.  It's ok to treat yourself, just be sure you don't let yourself fall into the habit of doing it often-

  4. I personally do, but I am in training for Military Boot camp.

    On a normal day, I don't lol.

  5. Days like that will give a great cardio workout. But if you're looking to tone your muscles, you'll still need to weight train. The great thing about lifting weights is that it will burn calories (as does cardio workouts) and build muscles. Muscles continue to burn calories even while you sleep, which is why I prefer lifting weights to cardio. However, that's not exactly what you're asking...

Even after a hard day I will lift weights. I lift 4 days a week followed by two days of rest. I do 20 minutes of light cardio everyday unless my day was physically exhausting in itself.

  6. Sure

  7. yes cos it relieves tention and stress... and keeps me lookin good...
