  1. everyone is different some girls stop growing at 13 some stop growing at 18, it has nothing to do with your period

  2. Uh no, you do not. Your parents' height is a better predictor of when you'll stop growing. Sounds like you'll be a tall girl, nothing to worry about though.

  3. well me personally, i'm 13, i started a year and a half ago, and i've grown 4 inches in that time. and my dr says i've got about 3 more to go.  so i say no.  :]

  4. Hahhaha I remember my doctor telling me when I was 5'7 that I would stop growing.  Now 5 years later I'm 6'1 and still growing so it really just depends on the person

  5. no, you should keep growing, even slowly, till your maybe 30-40, then you start to get older and eventually start to shrink, anyways, its probably not a year, and the site might have been wrong, googles not the best site for puberty, and some sites are just plain wrong

  6. Your growing slows down a lot, but there is a chance you will get a tad taller.

  7. Everyone's different. I got my period when I was 12 1/2 but I went through my last growth spurt when I was 16. Possibly 18. (I wasn't paying close attention, what with college and all.) Other people probably do stop growing within a year. As the other commenter said, your parents' height (and that of any older siblings you might have) is a better way to judge how tall you'll end up.

PS - I'm 5'11" by the way. Admittedly it can be hard to find pants that aren't high water, but otherwise being tall is great, so don't worry too much if you feel a little bit Amazonian now. The boys will catch up and you can wear all sorts of great clothes that short girls can't. ;)
