  1. Actually, when you start your period your in puberty, and you will grow until your about 18 to 21.

    Cheers hope this helps!

  2. There's a great book called "What's Happening to My Body? A Book for Girls" by Linda Madaras. It says that girls usually have a growth spurt at the beginning of puberty which usually lasts less than a year. By the time of her first period, the growth will slow a little to 1-2 inches per year.

Girls usually reach their full adult height within 1-3 years after their first period.

From the time of age 2, humans usually grow about 2 inches per year (that is on average - not necessarily steadily - it is often in spurts).

  3. you grow a couple inches after you start but then you stop completely

  6. No, that's a myth. Most woman who get their periods do around the age of 12. Usually by the age of 16 is when they reach their adult size. So, on average, you don't stop growing until about 4 or 5 years after you get it.

  7. Wow! that ludicrous !

  8. no you keep growing for a few + years then stop :) lol if that was true i would be very short.

  9. no.

  10. It just means that your growing slows down a bit. you don't stop growing completely.

  11. Just because you get your period does not mean you are going to stop growing in fact it could lead to more development in tallness, b*****s, hips, etc. :)
