Earlier this year, on the NRL Footy show, Sonny Bill was upset that Willie Mason left the club and Sonny Bill has just left the club (to France for union) and didn't tell anyone. How Ironic now!!

Even though Sonny Bill left the club, do you still respect Sonny Bill as a person? Is he still your favorite player?

  1. i think if he wants to go, then he should be able to go

let him off the contract, cos seriously if the bulldogs are going to force him to keep playing for them, he won't be too happy

he won't try to play at all

he was never my favourite player, but he was good and i still liked him

and i will continue to like him

and to loose him from league is a big loss!

and yes i still respect him :)

  2. yes

  3. as a bulldogs supporter i am not agreed with him deserting the club that fed him.he is not as big as a club just like mason.he signed a contracts which he should honour.if he did not like the contracts in the first place then he should not sign him.i lost respect on him and he is  a sook.i hope that he will not play any more footy once he did not honour his commitment to the bulldogs.we lost so many great players through the years but the club kept on moving ahead.with or without that sook sbw .go the bulldogs.there are more life in the kennels without those sooks like big willie "the dog" mason, ogre "fat has been"o'meley, anasta "the most over rated player in the nrl" and" the i want more money for my ******** manager"sook bill williams.the bulldogs has plenty young talents from their juniors to fill the gap.the berala bears.st.johns,the paDStows  panthers and many more.the bulldogs will not die because of him.sook bill williams will go old but the bulldogs will keep on growing.respect to sbw .not me .f**k him.

  4. Lets face it the NRL is the worst run sporting comp in this countrt, basketball included, Williams should not have left the way he did, but is is more a statement about the NRL than anything else, Russell Crowe was spot on NRL is the poor cousins of Aust. sport, the other codes must sit back and laugh,if you think the money is tight now, wait until the AFL's 2 new teams kick in!!

  5. Do not respect him as a person anyway and his dunny escapade with Falzon-disrespect him more because the fool got caught.

Would not have him back at club due to bad influence fro him and his manager.

  6. I thought he was a bit over-rated, funny 'was', for a player to play every week and perform is hard, but when he played well he was awesome, all the other games the media just hyped him up.

Yeah, after watching him on the Footy show last week and him saying how much he's looking forward to next year with some new talent coming to the 'Dogs - he's weak and won't back his mates, sold out the Bulldogs.

  7. I respected him as a player, and still do. BUT HES COMPLETELY LOST MY RESPECT AS A PERSON. HOPE HE BREAKS A LEG.

  8. i would have to agree with the people on this one. no respect for him as a person, wotever his reason is for leaving. the answer to youre last ?'s  NO

  9. Now-a-days it seems to be all about the money.  I think if Sonny Bills' contract allowed him to go...Why not?

    Good luck to him.

How ever... just to walk out without saying anything was a bit rough.

  10. Yes it is. he is in France right now he boarded the plane yesterday while i was watching the raider flog the titans Raiders!!!!!!!!! lol.

Thats was pretty selfish of him to for that while his team needs him. He actually got interviewed a couple of months back and he said that the Canterbury Bulldogs will get better and train more and have a come back, then he takes off on them. That is pretty low.

Anyway he is going to play with one of the French Rugby Union teams for 3 million dollars. But if he shows up here in Australia he will be very hated by his fans and even team mates because he left everyone behind for more money.

He used to wash cars for $9.56 an hour and the Nrl brought him up to play for them and he takes off. Without even telling anyone.

Hope this helped you Rennie :]

  11. sbw= hypocrite!

simple as that, let the loser go, junior ranks of rugby leage are full of tallent, you just got to watch a couple of toyota cup matches to see it!

the game is bigger than any 1 man!

  12. I still respect him as a great player that he, but he was never my favourite player to start with.

He's very much a hypocrite now

  13. i don't know about fav player but he was pretty good. it is ironic but i respect hi decision. at least he didn't move to the roosters. maybe he likes to try new things. but what? was he in love with mason or something? please don't leave mason... i love u.

s.b. williams is better then mason. more exciting to watch. but when i watch bowen do something crazy. makes me wanna play footy and it's not even my fav sport. same with fulao

  14. It will be interesting to see how this all unravels because he is still under contract....

It's hard to say that I don't respect him because he showed loyalty to the club before, so you've got to ask what changed within the club for him to leave like this....

He should honour his contract though...but that's just me...I'm old fashioned....
